The beginning of August is too hot now! And I don’t even want to think about cakes. Fruit and berries, all I need now. I want to share with you a very simple but tasty and impressive dessert – roasted peaches with vanilla beans. I propose to serve them hot, with a scoop of ice cream.
Baked Peaches with Vanilla
(for 4 servings) 8 ripe peaches 4 tbsp honey (or maple syrup) 1 tbsp butter 1 vanilla pod
Wash the peaches, gently wipe with a towel. Cut in half and remove pits. Cut vanilla bean in half and scrape with a knife vanilla seeds. Heat a frying pan. Melt the butter and vanilla seeds. Place peaches cut down. Fry about 1-2 minutes over high heat, until they were covered with a golden crust. I roasted peaches on the grill and I got a beautiful stripes, but it is not necessarily.
Take pan aside. Flip up peaches and pour some honey(or maple syrup). Put in the oven (200 degrees) for 8-10 minutes.
Serve peaches hot with vanilla ice cream.
