I am a big vegetable lover! That’s true! I like to roast seasonal vegetables and serve them with different dips. I love to make green salads: it’s always like a game for me, which vegetables to combine for next time. But let’s talk about roasted vegetables today.

Yesterday the first snow has fallen. I love the feeling when you’re already awake and know that it’s snowfall outside. And you run as quickly as possible to see that you’re not wrong. Yesterday, when buying products at the store, I saw ugly, very ripe bananas, and decided that I want to bake a banana bread for breakfast! After all, people won’t even consider buying these unsightly bananas, but they don’t know that they’re ideal for baking! Banana bread has an intensive banana-caramel flavour and a perfect crisp!

These weeks were so cloudy in Kiev. I like such weather but more than it I like to bake something aromatic and eat it with cup of warm tea or coffee (I prefer a few cups of cappuccino, much more than it’s normal). I like savoury pastry and after my good experience with english scones (I shared ones with herbs there) I decided that it would be great to mix some dried tomatoes and feta in scones. This scones are perfect for men’s breakfast with ham for example or cream cheese.
My Nick enjoyed them. Also they would be an excellent addiction to your hot soup! I hope you enjoyed this recipe too! Read More
I adore the pumpkins! This colour, smell, useful properties…this list can be infinite. Some time ago we were gathering pumpkins on the parents’ garden and I’ve decided that it would be a good idea to bake smth new with pumpkin. And so I’ve chosen a classical french brioche. It’s a french pastry, which is often served with some butter and jam for breakfast. And a cup of coffee of course. So I added some pumpkin puree to the classical recipe and got a brioche with amazing yellow colour and very delicate pumpkin flavour! Read More
Today I want to share a recipe of interesting french pie – Quiche Lorraine. This is a traditional french pastry. It preparing from the simplest and chip ingredients. I think this is one of those pies, in which you can fall in love or be disappointed. I fell in love with quiche lorraine and cook it sometimes. The main ingredient in this pie is stewed onions! It’s taste like stewed cabbage, but softer. You can add or no the cheese, as your like. But the main rule – always cut the onion very thin, because in this case the filling was perfectly soft and creamy. Anyway, try it and you will be surprised what a wonderful are onions in the baking!
